 1961. By Herman Warner Williams, Jr.  A remarkable collection of more than 160 paintings, watercolors, drawings and sculptures produced during the Civil War. Book was produced as a companion to a Civil War art exhibit assmebled at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Wasington and the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. Author was the director of the Corcoran Gallery of Art. Images include a number of color plates. Book is in very good condtion with protective plastic on its cover. Dust jacket has significant tear at front bottom (see image), otherwise book is clean and in nice condition. Hardcover. 251 pp.
